Beau and Arrow LLC ("Beau & Arrow," "we," "us," or "our") is a private concierge matchmaking service in Chicago, Illinois. Matchmaking means you trust us with personal things. This policy explains plainly what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It covers information collected through our website and inquiry form, our intro calls, and the course of providing our matchmaking service.
What we collect
Everything we hold, you gave us directly:
- Contact and identity details, your name, age, email, phone number, and general location.
- Matchmaking information, what you share about your background, your relationship history, what you're looking for, your preferences, and any photographs you provide.
- Sensitive information, by the nature of this service, that includes information about your sexual orientation and your relationship life. We collect it only to match you well, and we treat it with heightened confidentiality.
- Our correspondence, your inquiry, intro-call notes, and your feedback on introductions.
- Payment details, payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only the limited billing confirmation needed to manage your membership.
How we use it
- To understand what you're looking for, and to find, curate, and personally introduce potential matches.
- To communicate with you about your membership, introductions, and scheduling.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To improve the service and maintain the quality and safety of our client roster.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Who we share it with, and who we don't
We do not sell your personal information. There is no public database of profiles, no grid, and no way for anyone to browse our clients. Your search is not visible to the world.
We share information only in these limited cases:
- With a potential match. Introducing you to someone is the service. We share the relevant details of your profile with a client we believe you may be compatible with, only what's appropriate for an introduction, and only as part of the work you engaged us to do.
- With service providers who help us operate (our payment processor, website host, form and email providers, scheduling tools, and the analytics and advertising-measurement tools described below) who may use your information only to perform that work for us.
- For legal reasons, where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the public, or Beau & Arrow.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and keep access tightly limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we protect your information in a way that reflects how personal it is.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your membership is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service. After that we retain it only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- Show you the information we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, apart from anything we're legally required to keep.
- Stop further introductions or communications.
Just email us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we'll honor them.
Introductions are mutual, so details already shared with a match during the service can't always be un-shared. But on request we'll stop making new introductions and stop sharing your information immediately.
Network members
Some people apply to join our private network without becoming paying clients, so they can be considered for introductions to our clients. If you apply, we collect the details you submit (such as your name, age, contact details, neighborhood, occupation, social handle, and what you tell us about yourself) and any notes from our conversations with you.
We use this information only to evaluate your application and to identify introductions we think may suit you. We may describe you privately, without your name or contact details, to a client we believe is a good match. We share your name, photos, or contact details with a specific client only after you have agreed to that introduction. We never publish your information or make it browsable. You may leave the network and ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@beauandarrow.co.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: to make the site and its inquiry form work, to understand how visitors use the site, and to measure whether our advertising works.
- Google Analytics shows us how visitors find and move through the site.
- Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads books a call or submits an inquiry, so we can see which ads work.
- Calendly handles intro-call scheduling and sets its own cookies when you book.
These tools record events such as page views, a completed booking, or a submitted form. We do not send the contents of your inquiry, or anything you tell us about your preferences or relationship life, to any advertising or analytics provider.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Adults only
This service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll revise the effective date above and tell active clients about anything material.
