Beau and Arrow LLC ("Beau & Arrow," "we," "us," or "our") is a private concierge matchmaking service in Chicago, Illinois. Matchmaking means you trust us with personal things. This policy explains plainly what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It covers information collected through our website and inquiry form, our intro calls, and the course of providing our matchmaking service.
What we collect
Everything we hold, you gave us directly:
- Contact and identity details — your name, age, email, phone number, and general location.
- Matchmaking information — what you share about your background, your relationship history, what you're looking for, your preferences, and any photographs you provide.
- Sensitive information — by the nature of this service, that includes information about your sexual orientation and your relationship life. We collect it only to match you well, and we treat it with heightened confidentiality.
- Our correspondence — your inquiry, intro-call notes, and your feedback on introductions.
- Payment details — payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only the limited billing confirmation needed to manage your membership.
How we use it
- To understand what you're looking for, and to find, curate, and personally introduce potential matches.
- To communicate with you about your membership, introductions, and scheduling.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To improve the service and maintain the quality and safety of our client roster.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Who we share it with — and who we don't
We do not sell your personal information. There is no public database of profiles, no grid, and no way for anyone to browse our clients. Your search is not visible to the world.
We share information only in these limited cases:
- With a potential match. Introducing you to someone is the service. We share the relevant details of your profile with a client we believe you may be compatible with — only what's appropriate for an introduction, and only as part of the work you engaged us to do.
- With service providers who help us operate — our payment processor, website host, form and email providers, and scheduling tools — who may use your information only to perform that work for us.
- For legal reasons — where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, the public, or Beau & Arrow.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and keep access tightly limited. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we protect your information in a way that reflects how personal it is.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your membership is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service. After that we retain it only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- Show you the information we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, apart from anything we're legally required to keep.
- Stop further introductions or communications.
Just email us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we'll honor them.
Introductions are mutual, so details already shared with a match during the service can't always be un-shared. But on request we'll stop making new introductions and stop sharing your information immediately.
Cookies
Our site uses only the limited cookies or similar technologies needed for the site and its inquiry form to work. If we use analytics to understand site traffic, we do so in a way that doesn't identify you personally. Your browser settings control cookies.
Adults only
This service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll revise the effective date above and tell active clients about anything material.
